| Michael, managing director of Michael
Young Strategic Research, brings more than 25 years of research prowess
into play to serve his clients’ needs. Blending the best of
academic expertise with real life research solutions, Michael has
been a University professor and a consultant to more that 100 public
and private agencies including:
• Melon Bank He is an active pollster and media analyst, appearing on radio and TV to discuss politics and public affairs including Cable News Network (CNN) and National Public Radio (NPR). Michael founded the Television debate format program First Thursday, broadcast statewide in Pennsylvania by PCN, and is a co-columnist of Politically Uncorrected (with G. Terry Michael), a syndicated commentary distributed nationally. He has also been a consultant to CBS’s Harrisburg affiliate and has done political analysis for the Pennsylvania Radio Network Inquirer News Night, WIFT-TV and PCN. His more than 100 opinion and commentary articles appear in dozens of newspapers and magazines including USA Today, the Philadelphia Inquirer; the Pittsburgh Post Gazette; the Harrisburg Patriot, the Pittsburgh Tribune and the Arizona Republic and Cap Wire Dot Com. His comments and analysis are reported in national and international newspapers, such as the New York Times; USA Today; Chicago Tribune; Boston Globe; the Los Angeles Times; and The International Herald Tribune. Michael has published three books. His first book, The American Dictionary of Campaigns and Elections (1987), has become a standard reference in American electoral politics. His second book, The Classics of Polling, appeared in 1990. His third book, The Dictionary of Polling published in 1992 was named outstanding academic book of the year by Choice. < Back |
